Does TrendAgent work without TikTok's app audit?

Partially. Without audit approval, all posts are forced to SELF_ONLY (private) and capped at 5 users per 24h. We include the full audit guide, but the 2–6 week review and approval is controlled by TikTok, not us.

What TikTok credentials do I need?

A TikTok Developer account with a registered app, Content Posting API product, client_key and client_secret, and OAuth2 v2 tokens with the video.publish scope. The setup guide walks through every step.

How does token refresh work?

TikTok uses short-lived access tokens (24h) with a refresh token valid for 365 days. TrendAgent includes an automatic refresh loop that runs every 18–20 hours so posting never breaks.

Can I review posts before they go live?

Yes. TrendAgent supports draft mode — it generates content and queues it for your manual approval before publishing.

What are TikTok's posting limits?

~15 posts/day per creator account, shared across all apps using Direct Post. The API also enforces 6 requests/minute per user token.

What analytics does it track?

Views, engagement rate, follower growth, audio attribution, and posting time performance. All accessible from the agent dashboard.
